Gmail Remote Command

With Gmail Remote Command (GRC), a small program for Windows XP, it becomes possible to use the Gmail account to control your PC remotely.

Of course, do not imagine you can use a remote desktop or even hope to get screen shots (maybe in a future release?).

So how does it work? Well it's very simple: the program regularly scan your emails on Gmail, looking for an email reference for a blank order special. Examples of items:

To turn off the PC, the object will be: shutdown
To run a program: [Open] c: windowssystem32calc.exe [/ open]
To open a web page: [Open] http://www.example.it [/ open]

Of course, make sure to delete these emails some time after the order is executed under penalty of dying if your PC is restarted, if the shutdown is still present email!
Also note that the controls are customizable ... history to avoid your co-worker does not make you a bad joke ...

Finally there may be a small problem "MSINET.OCX" prevents the first use. To solve it, download the file in question here , place it in c: windowssystem32 then do Start -> Run and type regsvr32 MSINET.OCX.
