I just found this very interesting initiative: Go to GNU / Linux . This is actually a site internet with very simply what Linux is.
The site is open to novices of the computer and thus the world of Linux and free. You can find an overview of what Linux is, a page explaining the advantages and disadvantages of Linux over Windows.
Finally, for users seduced, one page is devoted to various ways of migrating to Linux. The site offers you to choose a distribution and the different ways to try it (Live CD) and install it.
It includes of course Ubuntu.
So if you want to discover or discover the world of Linux to someone, this is THE site to visit .
