I just discovered via a Mashable article (Fr) a service internet , Drop.io , while simplifying file sharing by internet .
Indeed, in a few clicks, you create a space of type http://drop.io/xxxx where you can share as many files as you want within the limit of 100 MB (free version). But the service does not stop there, since you can share.
Your space is sorted into several categories: notes, links, photos (with thumbnails), videos (well) and other files. You can see here a demo page.
But where Drop.io has outsold all competitors is that publishing files or links can also be done via email (votre_espace@drop.io), telephone, fax and even with a widget you can add to your site.
Finally, and this is the subject of the news from Mashable, the service now offers a Firefox plugin to add files through your browser .
In short, this is what I call a very comprehensive service and almost indispensable!
