Ubuntu 8.10 Intrepid Ibex , was just released in Release Candidate and this six days before the official release of the final version. This is the last test version reserved for last-minute tinkering.
It incorporates a new version of Gnome, a new theme (which is not the default) but that seems to rage on the canvas, a new version of Xorg and finally a new kernel.
If you want to download immediately presented does this version of Ubuntu, please visit this page . Know that even if you install it in advance (aujourd'hui'hui perhaps even earlier), you will not need to reinstall Intrepid Ibex on release of the final version because updates Automatic hand over your system upgrade.
It may even be a good idea if you wish to avoid the congestion of servers on the day of departure.
The photo header is not a screenshot of Ubuntu 8.10, but a theme in development (aceline)

Hello!
You could tell us more about this topic?
He looks Zoli:)
I had the same reaction as you ... but unfortunately this theme does not exist yet. It's just a first draft, probably designed with a lot of photoshop.
